Backend Engineer – AI

This is a founding backend role to design and build systems that orchestrate models, manage prompts, and power all AI interactions. You will design and implement backend services for AI-powered apps, integrating LLMs, vision, and speech models. Build orchestration pipelines (agents, tools, workflows) and implement prompt management and versioning. Develop evaluation, logging, and feedback systems; design scalable APIs for mobile and web clients. Handle retries, caching, rate limits, fallbacks, and ensure security, privacy, and cost control. Requires 4+ years of backend experience, hands-on AI model integration, and strong skills in Python, Node.js, or Go.
