Senior Internal Communications Manager

The Senior Internal Communications Manager is responsible for delivering strategic internal communication campaigns to the Royal Air Force's Whole Force of over 30,000 personnel, including regulars, reserves, civilians, and contractors. The role involves overseeing content on the RAF Intranet, Defence Connect, and the MyRAF App, as well as managing a team of senior and junior staff to ensure communication objectives align with strategic priorities. The manager will provide communication support to senior RAF leaders and collaborate with stakeholders across the MOD and RAF, developing engaging and effective communication strategies using GCS methodologies. The position entails evaluating campaign effectiveness, exploring new communication channels, and leading cross-functional initiatives to enhance internal engagement. Technical expertise in GCS ideas and implementation is essential, along with strong leadership and influencing skills to drive communication excellence across the service.
