Staff Nurse (RN) - Breast Surgery - DHK Center

Provide comprehensive nursing assessment and ongoing evaluation for patients undergoing breast surgery, including lumpectomy, mastectomy, reconstruction, and high‑risk evaluations.
Support pre-operative and post-operative care, including wound evaluation, symptom triage, drain management education, and postoperative follow-up coordination.
Deliver patient and family education on diagnosis, surgical options, perioperative expectations, recovery timelines, and self‑care plans.
Partner with surgeons and APPs to facilitate safe pre-surgical clearance, diagnostic imaging workflows, biopsy coordination, and ongoing surveillance.
Guide patients through care transitions—surgery consults, imaging, pathology review, plastic surgery integration, medical oncology referrals, and survivorship planning.
Respond to patient calls and portal messages, triage symptoms, escalate clinical concerns per established protocols, and maintain accurate documentation using clinical technology.
