Design & Engineering Manager – Cardiff

The role involves leading complex nuclear engineering and design programmes from opportunity development to successful delivery, working with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and stakeholders. The successful candidate will develop integrated delivery approaches, support project mobilisation, and ensure technical governance and assurance throughout projects. Building relationships with clients and partners to support business growth and strategic pursuits is essential, along with developing the capabilities of the team through mentoring and recruitment. Experience in highly regulated environments, technical credibility in nuclear engineering, and leadership of large teams are required. The position offers opportunities to work on major projects such as SMRs, AMRs, and infrastructure programmes across the UK nuclear sector.
