The AI Engineer will develop, test and deploy AI solutions using tools such as Microsoft CoPilot, GPTs, AWS Bedrock and LangChain to enhance university services. They will configure CoPilot experiences across Microsoft 365 and Teams, integrate AI agents with knowledge bases, and support colleagues in adopting AI tools safely and effectively. The role involves ensuring operational security and compliance with data protection standards, collaborating with security teams and documenting technical artefacts. Monitoring AI tool performance and user feedback will help optimise systems, while participating in professional communities to share best practices. The postholder will also contribute to responsible AI initiatives and the university's strategic digital transformation goals. Strong technical skills, experience with cloud AI platforms, and excellent support abilities are essential for success.
