As an ML Engineering Manager II in Core Engineering, you will set the technical direction and roadmap for large-scale production ML systems used for retrieval, ranking, and personalization across multiple surfaces. You will manage and mentor a team of ML engineers (L13-L16), hire to scale, and partner with product management, data scientists, design, and infrastructure to shape the future of content personalization. You will drive the vision for models and components like candidate generators, sequence modeling, and relevance modeling, ensure infrastructure efficiency and low-latency performance, and deliver measurable business impact and excellent user experience. You will communicate progress to senior leadership and foster a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
