A game developer at Tier 9 Game Studios is responsible for designing, developing, and optimising game mechanics, features, and systems for mobile role-playing games. The role involves taking ownership of projects from start to finish, learning existing systems, and ensuring code quality and performance standards are met. Candidates should have experience with C# and/or Java, Unity, and AI coding, along with strong debugging and optimisation skills. The position requires a proactive attitude, good organisational abilities, and the capacity to manage time efficiently, including handling urgent fixes when necessary. Skills in OOP and ECS architecture are desirable, complemented by a passion for creating immersive mobile gaming experiences.
