Senior Software Engineer responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining backend microservices and RESTful APIs for a loan platform.
Use Java 17+ and Spring Boot to build scalable, cloud-native services.
Leverage Kubernetes and cloud technologies (preferably GCP) and design robust database schemas.
Create tests, drive quality with CI/CD pipelines, and enable end-to-end delivery.
Collaborate across product and engineering teams; coach and mentor peers to grow engineering capability.
Hybrid role with in-office presence in Chester or Manchester (UK), requiring two days per week on site.
