Cloud Engineer

A Cloud Engineer in Manchester will be responsible for leading migration enablement efforts by defining and documenting AWS architectures, standards, and reference patterns. The role involves working closely with development teams to deliver migration services using infrastructure as code and automation, ensuring best practices and standardisation across deployments. They will perform architectural reviews to optimise and enhance cloud platforms and support teams in troubleshooting and incident management. The engineer will drive adoption of automation tools and document systems, scripts, and procedures to enable efficient reuse and support. Candidates should have experience in AWS cloud architecture, migration, and security, as well as DevOps and CI/CD tools, with strong communication skills. Certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect are desirable, alongside experience within an agile environment and security clearance.
