Principal Network Engineer – Warwickshire

A Principal Network Engineer supports the design, assurance, and deployment of complex enterprise and operational technology network solutions within critical infrastructure environments. The role involves creating technical documentation, acting as a specialist for routing, switching, and security technologies, and providing guidance to engineering teams throughout project lifecycles. The engineer collaborates with architects and project teams to develop secure, resilient solutions that meet operational and cybersecurity requirements while supporting technical governance and change management processes. The position requires operating across IT and OT environments, ensuring security, resilience, and performance, and communicating effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Experience within transport, rail, or other critical sectors is preferred, along with strong technical expertise, certifications, and the ability to operate in highly available environments.
