Cloud Engineer

The Cloud Engineer supports cloud adoption and migration projects by designing AWS architectures, defining patterns, standards, and reference architectures. They collaborate with development teams to deliver migration services using common tools, automating deployment processes and documenting systems for global support. Responsible for conducting architectural reviews and optimising migration paths, the role involves promoting automation and reusable patterns while troubleshooting technical issues. The engineer should have extensive AWS experience, including security and network services, and be proficient in DevOps and CI/CD tools within an agile framework. Effective communication skills are essential for cross-team collaboration and stakeholder management, alongside a proactive attitude toward adopting new technologies. Certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect or specialised security and networking credentials are highly desirable, with security clearance required for the position.
