Senior Backend Developer

A Senior PHP Developer is sought to join a digital team in Portsmouth, working on a mix of existing projects and new developments. The role involves building features using modern PHP and MVC frameworks, supporting and improving client projects, and creating web APIs for frontend integration. The candidate will mentor team members, triage support tickets, and contribute to internal projects shaping the company's future. They should have experience with PHP 8+, MVC frameworks, REST APIs, Composer, and Git, as well as a proactive attitude. Skills in AWS, Docker, React.js, CSS, or DevOps are advantageous but not essential. This hybrid position requires two days in Portsmouth and offers flexible benefits.
