A Mechanical Engineer at Oakwell works on designing and implementing infrastructure projects, specialising in energy efficiency and decarbonisation plans. They evaluate existing facilities, develop energy conservation measures, and produce detailed reports for clients. Responsibilities include leading construction meetings, commissioning systems, and helping develop sustainable MEP standards using AI and machine learning tools. Candidates should have a relevant engineering degree, 5–7 years' experience, and a Professional Engineering licence or progress towards one. Excellent collaboration skills and the ability to manage changing priorities are essential, alongside proficiency with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office. Remote work is available with travel within the Greater Boston Area for client site visits.
