The IT Advisor at Cardiff Metropolitan University offers first and second line technical support to students and staff, including installation and configuration of workstations,Fault diagnosis and resolution of hardware and software issues, support for audio/visual equipment, and ensuring effective communication of technical solutions. Candidates should be proficient in Microsoft Office 365, Windows PC technologies, iOS, and Android mobile platforms, and hold relevant qualifications or experience. Excellent customer support skills and the ability to communicate complex technical information clearly are essential. Knowledge of audio/video technologies and teamworking capabilities are also required.
