Finance Operations Accountant

CMA Recruitment Group is working with a major, nationally recognised employer with a large Hampshire operation on the appointment of a Finance Operations Accountant, in on a 12 month fixed term contract. The role is broad and technical, encompassing ownership of period end close, P&L preparation and balance sheet reconciliations across multiple areas. Responsibilities include supporting budgeting and forecasting, managing statutory compliance, drafting technical accounting material, line management of Assistant Accountants, and leading digital improvements. Candidates should be fully qualified accountants with strong general accounting experience, familiarity with SAP or similar ERP, and skills in Excel, Power BI, Power Automate, VBA, or Python are advantageous.
