An experienced Senior Backend Developer is sought to join a high-profile international technology programme based in Bristol. The role involves designing and developing scalable backend services with Python and FastAPI, building RESTful APIs and microservices, and working with data pipelines and graph databases like Neo4j. The candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to write high-quality, maintainable code, support CI/CD pipelines, and troubleshoot performance issues. Strong skills in Python, FastAPI, SQL, Docker, Kubernetes, and microservice architecture are essential, along with excellent communication skills. Knowledge of cloud services, geospatial data, and observability tools is also desirable, with applicants required to reside in a NATO member country.
