Specialist Pharmacist – Older Persons Medicine Portsmouth

A specialist pharmacist at band 7 level is sought to join the older persons medicine department at Portsmouth Hospitals University NHS Trust. The role involves delivering and developing clinical pharmacy services for elderly patients, providing expert pharmaceutical advice, supporting medicines optimisation, and working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams. The pharmacist will contribute to clinical governance, risk management, and service development, alongside supporting education and training within the department. Candidates should be registered with the GPhC, possess hospital experience at band 7 or equivalent, and have knowledge of medicines management and clinical governance. The position offers a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week, primarily on Thursdays and Fridays, with an immediate start preferred.
