Senior Cloud Engineer

The Senior Cloud Engineer is responsible for maintaining, optimising, and evolving cloud-hosted application workloads on AWS across multiple regions. They lead and deliver complex cloud initiatives, supporting workloads through the full lifecycle including maintenance, patching, and upgrades. The role involves improving reliability, resilience, and performance using SRE practices, as well as enhancing observability and incident management. Ensuring workloads meet security, compliance, and governance standards is key, with close collaboration with security and architecture teams. The engineer will work with application teams to improve cloud architecture, tooling, and standards, potentially taking on technical leadership roles. Candidates should have extensive AWS experience, including security, infrastructure-as-code, and Kubernetes support, alongside strong communication and problem-solving skills.
