A Test Engineer is sought to work on a government data programme focusing on big data and analytics in Newcastle upon Tyne. The role involves testing data pipelines, workflows, and solutions built on AWS, including services such as CloudWatch, IAM, S3, Glue, ECR, EC2, EMR, and DynamoDB. Candidates should have experience testing data systems, validating outputs from Spark-based processing, and working with orchestration tools like Airflow, as well as querying large datasets with Amazon Athena. Collaboration with data engineers is essential to ensure the accuracy and reliability of data outputs in a structured and unstructured environment. Familiarity with government or public sector project delivery, governance, and assurance standards is highly advantageous. Applicants must hold current, active SC clearance to be considered for this role.
