Network Engineer – Greater London

A leading international technology organisation seeks an experienced Senior Network Engineer to join its infrastructure team based in Watford. The role involves designing, implementing, supporting, and optimising complex enterprise network environments, ensuring the infrastructure is highly available, secure, and resilient for critical business operations. The engineer will configure and support Cisco, Palo Alto, and other security technologies, manage enterprise routing, switching, and firewall environments, and support MPLS-based WAN infrastructure. They will collaborate with cyber security teams on security controls, vulnerability remediation, and compliance, while leading infrastructure projects and maintaining documentation. Additionally, the role requires monitoring network performance, troubleshooting issues, supporting hybrid cloud environments across AWS and Azure, and mentoring junior team members.
