An experienced Lawyer is required to join the Council's Licensing, Litigation, Housing & Contracts team on a temporary contract.
Provide high-quality legal advice and representation to Members, senior officers and client departments.
Manage a diverse caseload including licensing, housing, litigation and contractual matters.
Advocate in courts, tribunals and public inquiries; attend Committee meetings and briefings.
Prepare reports and contribute to policy development; deliver training to Members and officers.
37 hours per week with flexible working; location at The Council House, Derby DE1 2FS.
