IT Systems and Network Engineer – Cardiff

This role involves installing, configuring, and maintaining network servers, PCs, CCTV, and building monitoring systems related to maritime surveillance. The engineer will troubleshoot, resolve issues, and ensure system performance across various international projects. Candidates should have at least five years of experience managing IT networks and systems, particularly Windows and Linux servers, and networking protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, and VPN. Knowledge of virtualisation platforms like VMware or Hyper-V, along with cloud services such as AWS or Azure, is advantageous. Excellent communication, analytical, and teamwork skills are essential for supporting and training clients' IT teams. The role requires willingness to travel globally, including periods of in-country deployment up to 12 weeks.
