The role supports the enhancement of finance processes at Great Lakes Finance UK, utilising strong finance knowledge and analytical skills to identify inefficiencies, improve data quality, and advance reporting and decision-making. The candidate will implement practical, sustainable improvements to streamline processes, reduce manual effort, and leverage automation, data, and emerging technologies including AI. Responsibilities include translating business needs into process improvements, developing analytical tools, and ensuring proper testing and documentation of solutions. They will also support the adoption of new tools through training and represent the finance team in cross-functional initiatives. Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills are essential, alongside experience with SQL, Power Query, or Python in a regulated environment.
