Video Editor – Toronto

The Globe and Mail in Toronto is seeking a skilled video editor for a two-year contract to grow our video journalism across Globe-owned and social platforms. You will collaborate with producers, reporters and editors to shape stories from concept through production and publication. The ideal candidate brings at least three years of editing experience in digital news, strong news judgment, proficiency with Final Cut Pro or Premiere, and the ability to create platform-specific content and motion graphics. Candidates should have a keen eye for storytelling, technical expertise in editing software, and experience working with news teams on fast-paced projects. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to adapt quickly to evolving news priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
