Leeds City College is seeking a qualified fitness professional to deliver engaging and challenging functional fitness sessions to learners aged 16 to 19 years. The coach will prepare students for physical entry standards for police, fire, military, and similar roles, emphasising benefits for physical and mental health. Responsibilities include creating varied training programmes using bodyweight, free weights, and movement drills, as well as assessing and supporting learner progress. The candidate should have experience in group functional training and a passion for inspiring young people towards careers in public services. A background in armed forces, emergency services, or sports coaching is desirable. The role involves collaboration with staff and supporting wider curriculum activities in a dynamic educational environment.
