A DevOps Engineer collaborates on designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable, secure, and automated infrastructure and application platforms. They develop and optimise CI/CD pipelines, manage cloud environments such as Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud, and employ Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform, ARM Templates, or CloudFormation. Monitoring application and infrastructure performance with tools like Prometheus and Grafana is also essential. The role involves working closely with development, QA, and operations teams to streamline software delivery and manage containerisation and orchestration platforms like Docker and Kubernetes. The ideal candidate will have expertise in cloud platforms, automation scripting, and DevSecOps principles within regulated sectors.
