Civil Project Engineer - Transportation

Lead and support transportation geometry design projects for infrastructure, including TXDOT and local agencies, across multiple Texas locations. Prepare and modify reports, specifications, plans, construction schedules, environmental studies, and design documents. Evaluate design changes and advise on constructability, field conditions, sequencing, and construction activity scheduling. Utilize computer-aided engineering and design software to produce engineering deliverables while adhering to QA/QC standards. Submit documents to federal, state, and local agencies for code compliance and obtain required permits. Candidates should hold a B.S. or M.S. in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program, 4+ years of relevant experience, a PE license, and a valid driver’s license.
