De functie
As a Staff Data Engineer, you will architect, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines for both batch and real-time processing, ensuring reliability and performance.
You will define and execute a data strategy aligned with business goals, focusing on data quality, governance, security, and lineage.
Lead streaming ingestion using Kafka or Kinesis and design data models optimized for streaming workloads.
Drive automation and CI/CD for pipelines using Terraform and CI tools, while ensuring robust monitoring and rapid issue resolution.
Oversee database administration for production AWS RDS, MySQL, Aurora, and PostgreSQL, including backups, DR planning, and health monitoring.
Mentor engineers, set best practices for data usage, produce comprehensive documentation, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enable scalable data-driven decision making.
