The role
An Energy Data Analyst collects, validates and examines data related to utility consumption across operational sites, converting raw readings into performance reports. The role involves analysing energy use and identifying anomalies to support energy efficiency and net-zero projects. Responsibilities include maintaining databases, preparing performance dashboards, validating bills, and supporting metering equipment maintenance. The analyst needs strong analytical, data handling, and visualisation skills, with experience in energy management tools preferred. A background in energy, sustainability or data analysis, with attention to detail and problem-solving ability, is expected. The position is based in Aberdeen and requires in-person work.
