The role
The Compliance Manager supports the maintenance of product and business compliance with relevant legislation, standards, and management systems. The role involves assisting with product testing, certification, technical documentation, and compliance activities related to smoke and environmental ventilation products. Collaboration with engineering, quality, manufacturing, and projects teams is essential to ensure standards are met throughout the product lifecycle. Candidates should have experience in an engineering or technical environment, familiarity with certification processes, and strong organisational skills. Knowledge of standards like EN 12101, UKCA/CE marking, and quality systems such as ISO 9001 is desirable. The role requires attention to detail, analytical skills, and the ability to interpret technical information and standards.
