Senior Software Engineer II

Design and build highly scalable metric computation pipelines using Scala, Spark, and Databricks on AWS environments. Develop Java-based backend services and RESTful APIs to expose metrics and orchestrate computations. Leverage Elasticsearch for high-volume search, aggregations, and analytical workloads, and Neo4j for graph-based metric computations. Collaborate with architects, product managers, and data SMEs to translate complex metric definitions into robust, production-ready implementations. Lead advanced debugging, performance optimization, testing, and observability practices; mentor junior engineers across distributed data systems. Contribute to architectural decisions and stay current with big data, graph, and search trends within an Agile, cross-functional team.
