The role
A Senior Data Scientist in Salford is responsible for designing and delivering data-driven solutions, exploring and modelling complex datasets, and developing machine learning and AI models. They work across the entire data lifecycle, supporting data pipelines, engineering platforms, and visualisations. The role involves analysing data, conducting experiments, and providing insights to inform strategy, often collaborating with engineers and mentoring junior colleagues. Strong technical skills in Python, cloud platforms, and the ML lifecycle are essential, with industry experience and good communication being highly valued. The position is based in Salford Quays with a hybrid working style, involving 1-2 days on site depending on project requirements.
