The role
A part-time cook is required in Derby to serve nutritious, home-cooked meals for residents in a residential care environment. The role involves planning menus, catering for dietary requirements, and maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene. Candidates should possess experience in catering, food safety certificates, and knowledge of food allergies and hygiene legislation. The position demands organisational skills, the ability to work independently, and excellent communication skills. Working hours are 7:45am to 4:00pm, 2 to 3 shifts per week, including weekends.
