The role
Collaborate with product, design, engineering, and newsroom partners to build editorial tools for programmed surfaces that align with editorial workflows.
Develop new features and improve existing components from requirements through design, implementation, QA, deployment, and monitoring.
Create reliable, secure, and observable features while identifying bugs and technical debt within the team's domain.
Review peers' code and provide constructive feedback to support growth and code quality.
Contribute to testing strategies and work with cross-functional teams to deploy and operate features in production.
Deliver tooling that respects editorial independence and supports the mission to seek truth and help people understand the world.
