The role
The role involves partnering with cybersecurity and risk stakeholders to develop data-driven use cases aligned to enterprise risk frameworks, including NIST CSF. The analyst will leverage scalable data pipelines, models, and architectures to enable cyber analytics, AI, and reporting across vulnerability management, threat exposure, and risk insights. Responsibilities include working directly with data owners and platform teams to ensure high data quality, transforming datasets to support security functions, and developing operational analytics products such as dashboards and strategic metrics. The position requires collaboration with data engineering teams to ensure sustainability, performance, and supportability of integrated cybersecurity tools and platforms. Applying advanced analytics, data modelling, and automation to convert raw telemetry into actionable security insights and risk indicators is essential. Utilising AI-assisted workflows and tools like Claude to accelerate insights and support compliance with security and data governance standards is also expected. Ability to explain complex technical findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders and serve as a thought partner on data strategy and architecture will be critical to success.
