The role
Senior Backend Engineer leading the development of back-end systems for client websites.
Lead small engineering teams and collaborate with frontend developers, information architects, business analysts, and visual designers.
Define scalable architectures and oversee integration with commerce and content systems across multiple languages, tools, and environments.
Mentor teammates, propose effective technology choices, and ensure delivery with continuous integration and automated testing (TDD).
Apply advanced knowledge of object-oriented design, data storage, and enterprise design patterns to craft robust solutions.
Adapt to shifting priorities across projects in a dynamic, non-corporate environment while maintaining quality and client value.
