The role
A Data Scientist with experience in credit risk, lending, banking, fintech or consumer finance is sought to develop predictive models and utilising modern analytics, machine learning and AI tools. The role involves working with large datasets, collaborating with stakeholders, and maintaining and validating credit risk scorecards and models. Candidates should have skills in Python, SQL, statistical modelling and predictive analytics, alongside experience in developing, validating or monitoring models. The job requires an analytical mindset, communication skills for diverse audiences, and the ability to work across multiple teams on strategic data initiatives. Knowledge of GDPR and data governance is essential, with a focus on delivering business value through data-driven decisions.
