The role
A care assistant at home provides personal care, household assistance, and companionship to elderly clients living independently. The role involves travelling to clients' homes to assist with daily routines, meal preparation, shopping, and social activities, ensuring their well-being and comfort. Candidates should have a caring attitude, reliability, and respectfulness, with or without prior experience, as full training is provided. Knowledge of care practices and good communication skills are beneficial, although not mandatory. The position offers flexible hours to accommodate different schedules and is subject to a DBS checks to ensure safety and trust.
