Electrical Engineer – Heckmondwike

An electrical engineer is sought to handle installation, maintenance, and modifications of electrical control systems across diverse industrial settings. The role requires proficiency in fault finding on electrical control panels, understanding control circuits, safety circuits, and control panel modification. Candidates should be capable of interpreting electrical drawings and working independently, with support from senior engineers when necessary. Experience with PLCs, variable speed drives, and electrical control systems is essential. The position involves working on 3-phase, single-phase, and low voltage equipment, with occasional travel and work away from home. Candidates must hold an ECS Gold Card and have at least three years of relevant site experience, preferably with a driving licence and willingness to travel. The role is full-time, based in Heckmondwike, with a pay rate between £27.00 and £30.00 per hour.
