The role
The role involves editing diverse video content, including documentaries, news packages, and social media clips, for a UK-based media organisation. Candidates must have extensive experience in editing with Adobe Premiere Pro and familiarity with After Effects, Photoshop, and creative suite tools. They will handle audio and visual edits, colour grading, sound mixing, and platform-specific versions to meet varied digital requirements. The position requires excellent organisation skills, teamwork, and the ability to work under tight deadlines in a newsroom environment. Knowledge of digital video trends, metadata, SEO, and experience with remote collaboration are desirable. The successful candidate will contribute to high standards of visual storytelling across international and domestic journalism and entertainment content.
