The role

Develop, modify, and correlate physics-based models for high- and low-voltage bus dynamics, charging systems, and power conversion devices to accurately predict vehicle performance.
Optimize designs by exploring the design space with sensitivity analyses to identify efficiency gains and tradeoffs.
Create and modify tools of varying fidelity for HV/LV bus, power conversion device controls, and charging system predictions; validate with on-road usage data.
Collaborate closely with power electronics, low voltage, charge port, HV and LV distribution teams to model and improve charge times and device performance at the vehicle level.
Lead and contribute to design reviews, test plans, and requirements reviews to further optimize vehicle efficiency and performance cross-functionally.
Present concepts and status to senior management and internal stakeholders as a cross-functional system engineer at Leadership Level 6, with a salary range of $146,520–$276,600.
