Senior Azure Cloud Engineer – Edinburgh

The role involves developing, supporting, and maintaining cloud-based solutions, including cloud migration projects, under the supervision of the Head of Cloud Technology. The engineer will lead the planning, design, and implementation of Azure applications, managing IaaS and PaaS elements to ensure cost efficiency and effectiveness. Responsibilities include troubleshooting infrastructure, developing cloud systems with security and compliance in mind, and utilising Infrastructure as Code tools. A strong knowledge of Azure security, Azure services, and scripting skills in PowerShell, Bash, or Python are essential. The position requires excellent communication skills and awareness of cloud technologies, with preferred certifications in Azure.
