The role
A chemical process engineer with extensive industry experience and technical expertise is sought to work on process design, flow diagram development, and equipment specification within the aluminium industry. The role requires skills in process mapping, P&ID development, and hazard analysis, including HazOp studies, with an emphasis on safety and regulatory standards. Proficiency in pressure calculations, heat transfer, and technology such as solid-liquid separation is essential, along with project management from scope definition to installation supervision. Strong communication skills and a methodical approach to problem-solving are necessary to succeed in this position. The engineer will be involved in commissioning activities and international travel opportunities, supporting plant optimisation and operational efficiency.
