The role
The AI and Decision Engineer at MITRE is responsible for applying machine learning, large language models, and decision science to inform mission-critical decisions. The role involves working in interdisciplinary teams to develop and evaluate AI-enhanced decision systems, including prototypes and operational solutions. Candidates should possess experience with machine learning, programming in Python and C++, and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly. The position requires a minimum of two years of related experience or one year with a master's degree, and the ability to obtain a US DoD Secret clearance. The work is primarily onsite, supporting projects that address high-stakes decision-making challenges with innovative AI technologies.
