The role
An electrical engineer with at least three years of experience in building services electrical design is required to support multiple projects involving low voltage distribution, lighting, fire detection, and emergency systems. The role involves performing detailed calculations, developing technical proposals, and assisting in design development using building services engineering software, including Autodesk Revit. Candidates should have good communication skills, knowledge of UK codes, and a motivation to learn digital tools and BIM capabilities. The team of around 16 engineers in Croydon collaborates across office locations to deliver regional projects such as commercial, public, and decarbonisation schemes. Responsibilities include project support from concept to delivery, contributing to technical aspects and supervisory duties, with opportunities to lead BIM and digital integration. The position requires a relevant engineering degree, professional membership, and experience in electrical building services design, with additional certifications preferred.
