The role
The Production Editor manages non-design tasks such as proofchecking, text formatting, and picture research to support educational publishing projects. They ensure content accuracy, quality, and adherence to deadlines by coordinating with suppliers and monitoring budgets. Proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Word, and Excel at an advanced level is essential. The role requires meticulous attention to detail, organisational skills, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. The position involves liaising closely with team members during production and maintaining quality control procedures. Full-time employment, based in Stevington, includes attending the studio Monday to Friday during probation.
