The role

A database administrator is responsible for maintaining, optimising, and supporting database systems to ensure high availability and performance. They collaborate with various internal teams to deliver database solutions supporting business intelligence and decision-making, managing backup, recovery, and security protocols in line with compliance standards. The role involves analysing and troubleshooting complex database issues and supporting the integration of third-party applications and ERP systems with core data infrastructure. Candidates should possess strong knowledge of SQL Server, performance tuning, and data security. Experience supporting manufacturing or ERP systems is advantageous, along with excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach.
