The role
An electrical engineer with expertise in high voltage earthing systems will design and analyse grounding solutions for switch houses and substations up to 400kV, ensuring safety and system integrity. The role involves using specialised modelling tools to simulate grounding performance under fault conditions, adhering to relevant standards and safety protocols. Candidates should possess strong technical skills in electrical design, fault analysis, and grounding system technologies, with experience in substation environments. Proficiency with CAD and modelling software such as CDEGs is essential, alongside good interpersonal skills for collaborative project work. This position requires a minimum of five years' industry experience and relevant qualifications in electrical engineering or related fields.
