The role
Produce authoritative general assignment reporting in Delaware with a focus on Sussex County, across web and broadcast platforms.
Pitch explanatory, investigative, and enterprising stories, while building a robust, diverse source list.
Research, write, edit audio pieces, and perform voice work; collaborate on multi-platform features and special projects.
Cultivate community contacts, participate in events, and promote work via social media while meeting deadlines.
Operate as a self-starter capable of delivering two to three stories per week and adapting to breaking news.
This is a grant-funded, fully remote role requiring residence in Sussex County, DE, with availability for nights and weekends as needed.
