The role
A DevOps Engineer is responsible for building and supporting CI/CD pipelines, automating cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code, managing DevOps tools, supporting cloud services, and working within an Agile team to improve delivery processes. Candidates should have experience in DevOps or platform engineering, hands-on expertise with CI/CD and cloud platforms such as AWS, and familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform and CloudFormation. Linux proficiency and scripting skills in Python, Bash, PowerShell, or Node.js are required, alongside eligibility for Security Clearance with at least five years UK residency. The role offers a salary range from £45,000 to £60,000, hybrid working in Newcastle, 25 days holiday, and a comprehensive benefits package.
